I am STILL WAITING!!! Please be aware that this is all about keeping my son safe online and so for eight days!!! This has not been the case. Another two hour chat and again they said they would ring within two hours. Eventually they agreed to ring within two hours. I contacted chat support and after a very protracted conversation they offered to contact me within 24 hours! I needed my son and his phone to be accessible at the same time so explained that my son would be at school. and probably still asleep)!!! I then arranged an appointment for a convenient time, they did not ring. 5 days later they rang on a Sunday morning at 7.30am (my son was away. They then said it would take 3 days for a support worker. So far I have been waiting eight days!!! It took me two hours to even be referred to the level 3 support team, using both phone and chat support. The worst customer service ever! I needed tech support to connect my sons new iphone 13 to their Norton family service. so far (after eight days), still non-existent They might do anti-virus decently, but honestly for their price of 40 pounds a year with all the glitzy but not necessary add-ons, you can get much better service for half the price. The new features are subpar too: the password manager keeps crashing, and the vpn keeps breaking. I have been with them for 8 years and still get treated like this. Absolutely no procedure to escalate or complain, you just have to vent your frustration on a poor guy sitting in a call centre in India. I contacted them at least 4 times to call me back the next day, they NEVER did, even closed my case. They wouldn't let you call them back, you have to stop your life to wait for them. They called during office hour expecting you to have your personal PC on standby. Then they said they would ask an engineer to call back. They remote controlled my laptop twice, wasting literally hours and the VPN was still not fixed. My VPN was broken and I contacted them for help.
